Breakfast and After School Clubs
Additional Support for Parents and Carers
At Julian's, we understand the needs of busy parents and carers, therefore offer both morning and after-school wrap around care in addition to our sports and special interest clubs.
We offer a range of clubs, before and after school, run by outside professionals. These include drama, science, art, dance, table tennis, football, netball, multi-sports, summer sports, capoeira, animation, photography, forest school and Lego. Most clubs have strict limits on numbers and also a small fee to cover the costs of staffing and resources.
Morning Club
A Morning Club is held every morning in the library resource area of the school from 8:30-8:55am. The service is on a drop-in basis at a charge of £2.00 per session.
It is proving highly popular with a large number of regulars attending each day.
Wrap Around Care
Schoolfriend Clubs Ltd is an external organisation offering wrap around care at both the Streatham and West Norwood sites for all JPS pupils:
Breakfast Club (breakfast included). From 7.45am - £4.75 per child
After school Club (snack included) – Until 6.00pm - £11.00 per child (siblings £10.50)
Annual membership (per family) - £25.00 a year
For further information parents/carers should visit the website: www.schoolfriendclub.com or email at: office@schoolfriendclub.com or phone: 0844 272 7158
Special Interest Clubs
Our special interest clubs take place on both sites and include:
- Drama Club with Boo Theatre
- Dance Club with WhizzDance
- Science Club with Mother Nature Science
- Animation with London Lens Project
- Photography with London Lens Project
- Forest School with Forries Education
- Lego Club through Kids With Bricks
- Table Tennis with Table Talent
- Capoeira with Danca Da Liberdade Capoeira School
- Art with Little House of Holly
When joining a club it is essential that your child attends regularly and also informs the school if they are going to miss the activity. The school will always aim to inform you by 1pm if a club is cancelled. Letters are sent out at the start of each term to inform you of the costs for clubs and activities.
Sports Clubs
Moving Matters offer a series of clubs on both the Streatham and West Norwood sites. Clubs include multi-sports, summer sports, netball and football plus specialist squads for Year 5 and 6 children.
Interventions
Due to the pandemic and its long term effects on children's learning, Julian’s may offer interventions in order to close the knowledge gaps.
