Julian's Primary School has been directly involved with training teachers for over 15 years. We work as part of the Dunraven School Sharing Excellence Partnership to deliver high quality teacher training. Our training provider is Roehampton University.

Trainee teachers are placed with our experienced teachers and receive excellent support and mentoring from leaders in school. They can work in any Key Stage and across both of our sites.

We have taken an active role in designing a training programme which draws on the talents of teachers at Julian's Primary School. We have invested heavily in the Lead Partner programme (formerly School Direct) and we are confident of providing a high quality, well-supported programme for existing and prospective students.
 
We have a number of trained mentors who work together to ensure excellent professional and pastoral support for our students. Currently, around 50% of our teachers have trained through the programme at Julian's; the School Direct programme has enabled us to nurture our own teachers and leaders of the future.

Applications run throughout the year but early interest is encouraged to ensure schools have training spaces available.
