General Information

As a staff team, we believe we can meet your child’s needs more effectively if we work together. We value your input as your child’s primary carer and as an expert on your child. We rely on your partnership, so together we can provide your child with the highest quality education and care. This will make their time at Julian’s School happy and enjoyable.

Every morning, staff are available at the entrances into school or playground for you to pass on quick messages or ask questions. If you need a more private moment, or need to speak to your child’s class teacher at length, you are very welcome to make an appointment.

Our curriculum topic and focus in spring term is: Fairground: What lies behind the fun of the fair?

Our learning this term will be through the context of ‘Fairgrounds’. We will use this as a springboard for all of the curriculum learning this term with a  Science and D&T focus. The book we will focus on will be ‘Mr Ferris and his Wheel’ and we will be unpicking what lies underneath all of the lights, forces and all of the other fun activities and rides at the fair. We will be asking: How do they really work? What makes people come to the fair? What makes fairs fun?

PE Days are Fridays and the P.E. focus will be football.

The children wear a PE kit for PE lessons as it is part of their school uniform.
