For the next two weeks we will be reading the non-fiction book: See Under The Ground. It is a fantastic flap book that takes children on a journey to the centre of the Earth. Beginning with the Earth’s core and crust as well as helping the children learn about creepy caves and amazing underground animals.
In Literacy we will be thinking about the differences between a non-fiction and fiction book. We will also be practising writing in different tenses. Children will be making their own flap books about what they can see under the ground. In Maths we will be learning about money and trying to use money focused vocabulary during our independent play.
