Welcome to the Summer 2 term, 2019! Year 4 will begin a new topic on Monday 3rd June, which will continue up until the summer holidays. Exploring another exciting and engaging theme 'European Regional Studues' we will focus on geography, history, science and the arts and continue to use our ‘Connected Curriculum’ to deepen and progress our understanding. We have planned a whole class, alternative learning environment visit to the National Gallery on the 15th July to learn about landscapes. Permission letters have been sent out to paretns and carers, please return them by Friday 28th June.
The week beginning Monday 1st July will be world of work week, we have some interesting activites planned including an educational offsite visit on Wednesday 3rd July. Letters have already gone home requesting permission to attend, please return slips to school by Monday 1st July at the latest.
General information for parents:
Homework: This will be sent home every Friday. Please return this by the following Wednesday so that it can be marked.
P.E has changed date and will now be on Monday afternoon and Wednesday morning (please do not wear P.E kits to school, as we will change for PE after break/ lunch).
Dance/ Drama & Gardening will be on Wednesday.
Music tuition (Music Trax & Steel Pans) will be Thursday.
