I hope you had a lovely Christmas break and are ready to continue your hard work!
Our Creative Curriculum topic this term is 'Wheels, Wings and Other Things'. The children will learn about different forms of transport and will read various stories that focus on travel or journeys. The projects I have seen so far look great so please keep bringing them in!
Our focus in maths this term will be on fractions and money. In addition to this, the children will also be working on their Key Insant Recall Facts (KIRFs) to help improve their mathematical fluency (x tables and number bonds). The children will have a KIRFs to practice each half term. In English we will be reading the book 'Lila and the Secret of the Rain'. The children will use their writing skills to adapt and retell the story.
